A little cryptic title for my long-overdue first post in 2013, but I’ll quickly explain. Having a wisdom tooth removed is not an experience I would wish on many people, yet is something I had to go through this past week. A couple of weeks ago I got a pain at the back of my [...]
Car page finally completed and drags are coming!
[thumb:724:l] A couple of brief car updates for you, but ones that are worth being a featured story. The site has been up a couple of months, and today I finally got around to finishing the guide to my car. You can find information about my 1992 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR, the modifications it has and its performance here.
And secondly, we are just over a week away from the first drag tournament of 2009 in Okinawa. Yes, the Omega Drags will be taking place on March 15th up at Nago Circuit. From what people have said, it looks like there is going to be a good turnout, with some of the tuning shops that don’t usually take cars up there competing. I’ll be trying to better my performance in the Zetalube Drags of October last year, when I picked up the 2nd place trophy. A podium place might be tough as I’m a little out of practice, but it all comes down to how I perform on the day.
So expect a bunch of photos and a detailed report soon after that, hopefully with some success to talk about. Although I do consider myself lucky in the position I’m in; I’m pretty quick to make a decent showing at the drags but not quick enough that I feel any pressure to do well. It’s just a chance to go up there, have some fun and time some 150m runs.

You’ve ordered those tyres from Tire Rack? That is a great deal on them.

yes, shameless plug for tirerack dot come. course, these were 16′s …but even still, KILLER savings on top of the line daily driving high performance wheels (Neovas, Direzzas, etc…) ..literally a fraction of the price, and the company is very APO/FPO friendly with pop-ups catering to the overseas DoD crowd here.
